Hilleberg Nammatj 3 (Black Label)

Hilleberg Nammatj 3 (Black Label)

Hilleberg are one of the best tents in the world, manufactured to the highest quality.

The Hilleberg Nammatj 3, and the Nammatj GT version - which has an extended vestibule are one of the toughest and most lightweight tents you can find. A four-season tunnel tent, which easily handles all weather conditions make the Nammatj 3 the perfect choice for New Zealand's harsh climate and conditions. We all know you can get 4 seasons in a day here, so face them with confidence with the Nammatj.

If you appreciate performance, stability, and low weight you will see this as an ideal tent able to stand up to the harshness of the weather at high altitudes, and on narrow ledges.

The Nammatj tunnel tent has become immensely popular with extreme users in the mountains or regular users requiring a very lightweight tent, but not wanting to compromise on strength and stability.

  • Mountaineers doing remote routes in the highest ranges
  • Professional guides
  • Cycle touring / Paddle Touring
  • Backpackers / trampers
  • Adventure motorcycle touring

Features / Performance Attributes:

  • Kerlon 1800 outer tent fabric and 10 mm poles make for an exceptionally strong and stable tent.
  • A four season tent:  Outer tent walls extend to the ground, and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels.
  • The tunnel construction offers maximum space to weight ration and is the ideal choice for mobile adventures.
  • The tunnel design, with its single-opening, continuous pole sleeve construction and linked inner and outer tents makes the Nammatj 3, and the Nammatj GT version, easy and quick to set up.
  • A single entrance and vestibule make for easy access and plenty of storage space, but keeps the weight very low. The Nammatj GT's extended vestibule provides even more storage space.
  • The outer and inner tents can be used separately.  Pitching the inner tent alone requires 4 optional pole holders  (sold separately)
  • The inner tents in the Nammatj models can be replaced with the Nammatj Mesh Inner tents  (sold separately)

  • The Nammatj 3 and Nammatj GT’s ventilation system functions regardless of the weather conditions:
    • The vents are backed with no-see-um mesh, and have adjustable snow-proof panels which are air permeable even when zipped up. In addition, the inner tent door has a full no-see-um mesh panel covered with an equal sized, zipper-adjustable fabric panel for greater venting and weather-protection options.

Options:

  • Tent Footprint:
    • An optional footprint covers the entire area of the outer tent, including the vestibule. It connects directly to the tent, and can be left attached during pitching

  • Extended Vestibule – GT Version Tents:
    • An extended vestibule on the GT version allows for greater storage space and flexibility.

    • The entrance on the GT’s extended vestibule boasts a full no-see-um mesh door (which can be zipped off completely), and a multi-slider zipper door that can be opened from the top, side, or bottom.
